#2.Meet with an elder on ANY Sunday following Worship (up front in the Sanctuary) and indicate your interest in joining! Together with a pastor, you can be received into membership. We ask that you follow through by attending the next series of Inquirers' Classes. Thanks!
Note: We’re pleased to provide an Inquirer’s Class for all guests interested in learning more about Carmel Presbyterian, with the possibility of joining! Get to know the staff and ministries of the church! Welcome! Let Anne Hilborn know if you would like to attend (ahilborn@carmelpresbyterian.org)
There are three ways to join a Presbyterian congregation:
1. By profession of faith. If you have not been baptized, you may join by making a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ and being baptized.
2. By reaffirmation of faith. If you have been a member of a church at some point in your life but have not been active in recent years, you may join by reaffirming your faith in Jesus Christ.
3. By transfer of membership. If you have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ and are a member of another Presbyterian church or a church of another denomination, you may join by a transfer of membership from your former church. Upon your completion of the new members' class, Carmel Presbyterian Church will write your former church to ask for your letter of transfer.
