Senior High Youth had a wonderful trip to the
Osage Indian Reservation
June 20,2011 - June 25,2011

For those who have not heard, the Senior High Youth had a wonderful trip to the Osage Indian Reservation. We spent our days in a small community called Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Our church team was broken into work crews, where we were able to serve along side other leaders and youth from around the United States. There were two groups from Texas, one from Missouri, one from Kansas, and us. The youth helped run an afternoon "Kids Club" and spent time providing service for some members of the community, including two families with medical situations and helping a disabled man move apartments. I think the kids were touched by being able to serve there, and I know that the community was touched by the service of the youth. Several of our youth were out tossing a football one evening, and a gentleman from the community stopped and rolled down his window. He thanked those
nearby and offered to let all of the youth come to his house and go swimming in his pool as a thank you for the work they were doing for the community. We were blessed to be a part of what God is doing, and grateful to be the hands and feet of Christ. Thank you for all your prayers and support, and please continue to lift up the upcoming Middle School trip to Newport, Tennessee.
